I recently read “Pursuing Christ. Creating Art.” by Gary Molander. I’m pretty positive I highlighted half of the book, but this one particular quote stuck out at me. I am a total perfectionist, and a horrible critic of my own work. I want everything I do to be perfect. And it’s just not.

I found an interesting thought in the pages of this book: “Our lives are excellent. But they’re not perfect. I think the art we create needs to reflect the same thing. Every artist at every ability level can be excellent. They cannot be perfect.” So hello world, and all that nonsense; I hope you enjoy my attempts at being excellent!
